A common scenario is spinning up a VM to try out a dev stack. Let's provide guidance using Quick Create.

Basic steps in the readme, but would be good to identify lightweight Windows images to use as a starting point.

Not a bad idea to link to the MS Eval ISO's.

@scooley what do you think?

My personal favorite scenario here would be if MS maintained vagrant boxes. I used to do that but it became to burdensome to maintain them myself. That way users could get a windows VM that "just works" regardless of VM client (Hyper-V, vbox or vmware).

Some Vagrant boxes are downloadable here - https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/tools/vms/ - of course they aren't just the OS but meant for testing browser functionality - however it shows that somewhere within MS someone at least created vagrant boxes

I have found that @StefanScherer vagrant boxes to be very useful:

They are always kept up to date with the latest versions, as he has the process fully automated through a Continuous Integration server.

That's pretty cool. If one of you can write up what the addition to the docs on this project should look like I'll gladly try it out and accept the PR.
