Getting started

To start using Color Picker, you need to enable the utility in PowerToys settings (Color Picker section) first. Once you have enabled it, you can launch Color Picker by pressing the activation shortcut Win+Shift+C (note that this shortcut can be changed in the settings dialog)

When you hover you mouse cursor over the color you would like to copy, press the left mouse button. If you want to see the area around your cursor in a more detail, scroll up to zoom in. Copied color will be stored in your clipboard in the format that is configured in the settings (HEX by default)
