When you remap a single key to another key or a shortcut, you should be able to select specific applications you want the remapping to be active for (like when remapping shortcuts)
Scenario when this would be used?
In a lot of 3D programs like Unreal Engine or Unity, you have to hold right-click to move the camera around. For me it's helpful to bind a key on my keyboard to right-click so I can use my other hand, which for me is more dexterous. You could also use it to bind keys like F6-8 to bold, italic, and underline only in Word editors where it would be useful
Supporting information
As of now you can already do this if and only if you are remapping a shortcut to something else. While the feature itself is useful, limiting it to shortcuts only restricts you from using single keys (like the function or arrow keys) in a similar way
