Quick Accent

Steps to reproduce

  • Game mode is on.
  • Playing Valorant
  • Pressing Z and space to jump forward

✔️ Expected Behavior

Pressing a key, then space, should not activate the Quick Accent toolbar when gaming.

❌ Actual Behavior

Pressing a key, then space, activates the Quick Accent toolbar.

Might be a problem detecting the game. /bugreport

Hi there!

We need a bit more information to really debug this issue. Can you add a "Report Bug" zip file here? You right click on our system tray icon and just go to report bug. Then drag the zipfile from your desktop onto the GitHub comment box in this issue. Thanks!

Oh, you're right. The game was in windowed fullscreen setting, when I changed it to fullscreen it's detecting it.
Probably game mode detects the game only when it's fullscreen, I didn't know that.

There is a setting called "Excluded Apps" you can try if you are playing the game in maximized window mode. You can find this setting on the Quick Accent settings page.

Can assure that this issue is still present when games are running in "windowed full screen" mode, since not every game has a full screen exclusive mode (e.s. Starfield, Hellblade 2 and many others) it's a real pain to manually insert every process name (especially you have a multi PC setup), my suggestion is, if it's hard to detect open games that aren't full screen exclusive, to at least make some kind of process selector like discord for unregistered games
