Description of the new feature / enhancement

I would like to have the degree symbol (°) available, preferably either in the character list for the comma (,), period (.), or 0.

Scenario when this would be used?

I am often having to type the degree symbol and to do so I have to google the character and copy-paste it or use windows key + . for the emoji panel. This would be much more convenient than either of those.
