The new feature Awake is impossible to start.
It starts passive, as in the settings, but every menu action yuo try to click in order to disable screen saver does absolutely nothing and everything remains the same (Passive).

Same thing here. I can only change it in the PowerToys GUI, not through the system tray icon context menu.

With Awake should I be able to turn it on / off by double clicking the system tray icon?

I'm on Windows 10 Pro 21H1 (19043.1081), it's a pretty fresh/clean install only done a week or two back.

Will stick on Caffeine for now ( https://zhornsoftware.co.uk/caffeine/ ) which works fine for me, but if Awake works, I might switch to it.

Work to solve it is being done in #12215
In the meantime, using the settings to change Awake's behavior is the current workaround.
