It would be easier to update the information if we have the main project page deploy with jekyll:

https://jekyllrb.com/docs/github-pages/

First need to chose a theme and then just migrate the info into md files.

This can be an example of a theme to choose: https://github.com/daattali/beautiful-jekyll
