Ideas for the first Apollo London meetup and beyond

Since we're all new to Apollo, here's the start of a list of ideas that might be good for early meetups.

The format will be Show and Tell, so we're looking for people to demo simple implementations of key Apollo features. We can start from a very basic level as this is new technology, so there are no experts!

• Setting up a simple read-only GraphQL server in Node.
• Connecting to a GraphQL server via Apollo from React, or even Yo-Yo for simplicity.
• Mutations.
• Using the Github GraphQL API using Apollo.
• Subscriptions over websockets.

If anybody feels inclined to give a talk on one of these topics, it would be great. Thoughts appreciated!

I haven't even had time to approach looking at Apollo yet, but am very interested, so maybe a quick start for Meteor users guide would be great. Also I imagine you'll have a 'news' section (like at the meteor meet up) where we can get an idea about the state of things as they are and what's coming next?
