Check that we haven't covered this in the guide, and if not, make sure that this is covered. Also make sure that UUIDs are mentioned and the allocation strategy. Check component IDs have something sensible said too.

System and component IDs will be in routing when #113 goes in. Note however that we probably need this info as part of a simpler introduction - ie they are used for routing, but most people don't need to know about routing but they do need to know about allocating system ID.
