I'm not sure if it is technically possible on a non-Rooted device but this
would be a very meaningful enhancement for WiFiACE. Ideally, the support should
cover all type of proxies:
- HTTP
- HTTPS
- SOCKS (v4 and v5)
- FTP
- Proxy configuration URL
- List of hosts/subnets to be ignored

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
- WiFiACE-0.10-20100924
- Android 2.3.3 on Nexus One

Please provide any additional information below.

I can only add an interface to the Android's proxy subsystem, but this would be
connection-agnostic as the proxy setting in Android is global IIRC.

I mark this as accepted, but with a Low priority as a full implementation of
the feature depends on Google deglobalizing the Proxy subsystem setting
(http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=1273).

I'll look into it to see what can be done anyways.

I'll keep you informed.
