How to print pixel-perfect (or line-perfect) images from linux? #48

I tried to make 384x384 bitmap image and print it from GIMP or other software, but CUPS or linux print system accept only rounded inch values for page settings, which don't allow to use millimeters, pixels or accurate inch values..
