Hi, I recently discovered mystmd and I am very grateful for it!
I need your help to fix some list markdown problems.
Problem
My markdown cells don't display the list correctly after jupyterlab-myst extension is enabled. Each list is displayed as a checklist (see below the picture attached presents the markdown cell and the same markdown cell after execution for 2 cases of the list)
Reproducible steps
Tested on Mac OS Monterrey and Sonoma, with JupyterLab Desktop and also from the jupyter lab command line inside Brave or Safari.
Requirements: mamba installed, npm installed with Homebrew
Create a Local Python virtual environment: % mamba create -p ./myst-env pip ipykernel jupyterlab
Activate it % mamba activate ./myst-env
Add the kernel to jupyter lab: % python -m ipykernel install --user --name=myst-env
Install nodejs % mamba install nodejs
Install jupyterlab-myst and mystmd % mamba install jupyterlab-myst mystmd
Start Jupyterlab % jupyter lab
Go to the Jupyterlab extension and look for Jupyterlab-myst, then ensure that the extension is installed and enabled.
Restart Jupyterlab as well as refresh your browser (tested with Safari and Brave).
Additional information
As I metionned, I had the same behavior adding the Jupyterlab-myst extension to the Jupyterlab Desktop app. % npm --version 10.1.0
% node --version v20.9.0
% jupyter labextension list
JupyterLab v4.1.5
/Users/thomas/.../myst-env/share/jupyter/labextensions
jupyterlab-myst v2.3.1 enabled OK (python, jupyterlab_myst)
jupyterlab_pygments v0.3.0 enabled OK (python, jupyterlab_pygments)
