Description of the problem:

Android 12 and above autofocus is not working.

Which library version are you using? E.g. 3.2.0.

4.3.0

Which phone/tablet are you using, and which Android version does it run? (e.g. Samsung Galaxy S5,
Android 5.0)

Google Pixel 6, Android 14

Does the same happen on other devices or an emulator?

Redmi Note 10 5G, Android 12 / Samsung S20+, Android 13

Can you reproduce the issue in the sample project included with the library? If not, can you
provide your own sample project or sample code that produces this error?

In the case of an error do you have a stack trace or adb logs?

Same on my side. Samsung Galaxy S23 -> Sometimes the Autofocus does initial focusing, but most of the time it is just blurred...

same thing happened. but it started to work well after several restarts of application. and now i cannot reproduce it. Seems like it was an issue on the first run (when it was asking for permissions for camera)
