Mainly curious as I am working to add contributions like this to a new Sonatype project. It seems as if this project is largely dead/not getting attention, just looking to confirm.

Just for reference: I am maintaining the SPEC (as well as a new SPEC for nexus3) at https://github.com/juliogonzalez/nexus-oss-rpms

Until today, there was the PR #2 to merge all the changes back, but since the PR is almost 6 years ago, I decided to close it.
