Hey, we could consider baking into AMI automated upgrades of Helm-Chart when we make a release, to handle issue with upgrades. Implementing this wouldn't be hard. ArgoCD or FluxCD can do the work.

With this task, I would like to talk about what could help and what can go wrong.

Where it can help:

  • Deliver software faster to our users - it would work like Browser updates ;-)
  • CSE Team would not need to ping clients for updates

Problems

  • How to deal with chart breaking changes? Like change format in Values
