Toward bottom of page, there's a link to PDF with Mac/Windows coding environment setup instructions. Text is:

  * A walkthrough for [setting up your machine at home with Python](https://github.com/thejqs/pycar/blob/master/takehome/Installing%20Python%20The%20IRE%20Way%E2%84%A2.pdf), version control and virtualenvs

Should we remove or update this?

There are sooooo many ways to do Python these days:

  • VSCode + Jupyter
  • Jupyter Lab + myriad ways to install and manage Python
  • Anaconda
  • GH Codespaces

Not sure we want to be in this game, perhaps other than briefly mentioning and linking out to a few or even one beginner-friendly option such as VS Code...
