How to embed a snippet in several places, including a custom page ?

Our site is including:

• a rather complex snippet (template type, with containers, css and js) in Dashboard side bar.
• a 2 columns custom page (main column and side bar)

Please, is there a simple way to get the same snippet in the custom page side bar AND in Dashbord side bar?
For the present time what we do is to crop the dashboard page snippet and add it as an image in the custom page side bar. Simple, but not clever at all, I know!!
