GitHub access token asked twice

When execute some composer commands, like composer update a bunch of times, GitHub ask to provide an access token for future use by Composer.

However, it's seems after some modification to connect and check connectivity to api.harmonycms.net this composer plugin ask twice an access token.
Furthermore, when executing a composer command once again the access token is asked each times, it's seems the access token is not saved or not read by the composer plugin.
