Some reasons to use it

  • A testing framework https://oclif.io/docs/testing/
  • Great plugins for providing QoL features with ease
  • Providing a Binary so if indexers don't want to install Node and other packages needed to run CLI they can just pull binary and just use it
  • Ease of adding new commands -- given our CLI is based on some API we can tweak some generators on Oclif and just generate commands
