I am wondering what the reasoning behind not including the <> ast.NotEqual ne comparison in the cql-json parser is?

pygeofilter.parsers.cql_json.parser.COMPARISON_MAP

The reason is that it is not defined in the CQL JSON specification. There you see all other binary predicates but not the ne one.

I think this is an oversight in the specification. I added an issue to hopefully resolve it: opengeospatial/ogcapi-features#607

ok, great. I can see that it will be fixed in the spec soon.

According to @cportele the new spec draft will published in September
