For the alarm feature, Spotify playlist support via spotifyd and MPRIS (in addition to web radio stations) would be nice.

This would now be possible, since I got D-Bus/MPRIS to principally work in spotifyd (there are still issues to solve however, see Spotifyd/spotifyd#1221 and Spotifyd/spotifyd#1168).
