Steps to reproduce

  1. Open Element Desktop client
  2. Start a Videocall
  3. Opening Screensharing
  4. Element Sharing Window is started and the kde Plasma window to choose the screen/window
  5. choosing a screen (or window?)
  6. KDE Plasma Window is popping up again after choosing the window (does not auto-close)
  7. Close the KDE Plasma window
  8. Element crashes.

Working solution:
7. (Window was handed over too Element Client (is appearing in Element Client)) Choose Window/Screen from Element Pop-Up Window.
8. Screensharing is starting and working as expected

xdg-desktop-portal is on hold because in the newer version screensharing is not working.

dpkg --get-selections | grep hold
rsync hold
xdg-desktop-portal hold
