New Release

I originally wanted to finalize #27 before the next release, but I don't know if I'll find time for it in the next few days/weeks.

@rorist maybe we could create a new release soon?

That's a good point, we also have to test the release to multiple devices ! I'll do this starting tomorrow on my devices and virtual devices. Please report results as well.

Usually I pin the release (on the changlog commit) using tags.

Works fine on:

• Pixel 3a / Android 10
• Xiaomi Pocophone F1 / Android 9
• Emulator Nexus S / Android 5.0

The widget did not seem to work on my Pixel 3a. It worked on the Pocophone. I could not test it on the emulator since that had a strange launcher that did not allow me to add a widget.

Do you compile the code from scratch to test it? Or there is some easy way to do this?

For now, yep. The simplest way is downloading Android Studio, opening this project and hitting "run" with your smartphone connected.

You can also install the Android SDK manually and run ./gradlew installDebug on the command line.

Hi,
It's great that you are preparing a new realease. I saw in the code that there is some issue with HTC phones. I own one of these on Android 7.0, saw that you are testing on Android 10 and 9, maybe I can help ?
