Notes from meeting 31.5.

• Both managed (with a scheduler) and unmanaged (without a scheduler) hier-blocks need the following:
  • C++ API to retrieve blocks and edges
  • Message-based API (see [5pt;8pt] graph-prototype: Implement Non-locking Runtime Graph Modifications gnuradio4#118) to retrieve blocks and edges - messages need to be able to target specific, potentially nested, graphs
  • API to differentiate between managed and unmanaged hier-blocks - the scheduler needs to be able to know if it should dive into a subgraph or not
  • Investigate how to store nested graph in Yaml
