Limit the number of alternatives (e.g., tmux vs byobu) in the core presentation. Move them to the "Other tricks" section.

Focus on only one "Demo" and mention other possibilities at the end.

Half-kidding but would like to twist your arm here. Have you ever install byobu on any other Linux or via brew? Nuttin to it. Nicer UI. Yet replaceable by tmux.

I agree byobu is great. But you're the one who in the other thread said we shouldn't include "orthogonal" stuff ;)

I'm fine either way; this is such a minor point. It's fine to push good software everywhere if you like it.

It's "mostly" just an editorial decision to talk (almost exclusively) about byobu in t4. Up until this discussion I had zero pushback. I think we can even show both if feel like it. (Start with byobu, shows the added UI bells, detach, reattach with tmux.) (Or A starts with byoby, B joins with tmux, C joins with either. It does not matter. But tmux's UI is awful compared to tmux and we are fighting a battle here where we need to overcome the "Unix doesn't shave its arms and legs" unsexyness.

I hope I don't get cancelled for that comment.

yeah, i think i was mostly pushing for simplification. I'd prefer just doing byobu alone (with tmux and screen mentions in passing) rather than two demos.
