About Bloqboard:
Bloqboard (https://bloqboard.com) is a Digital Asset Lending Platform for collateralized loans originated, settled, serviced and managed on the Ethereum blockchain. Powered by decentralized lending protocols Dharma and Compound, Bloqboard engineers on-chain lending solutions for users of digital wallets, trading platforms, exchanges, asset managers, custodians. On Bloqboard users can borrow and lend directly from their digital wallets such as Metamask, Coinbase Wallet, etc.
Launched by a team of former investment banker, debt capital markets analyst and a distributed systems engineer, Bloqboard is changing the financial services industry landscape. We are a small team of 10 (rapidly growing) with headquarters in San Francisco (SOMA).
Summary of position:
As a Product Champion at Bloqboard you will be developing and communicating product ideas that will improve the experience of our end users and partners. You will be responsible for setting, prioritizing, and evaluating the work generated by a Scrum team in order to ensure impeccable features and functionality of the Bloqboard platform. We are looking for an execution-focused individual with background in financial markets (preferably credit/fixed income) or other relevant field (fintech startup, etc). The Product Champion has a proven track record of driving results.
Responsibilities:
-- Ability to form product vision and test hypothesis -- Define, prioritize and execute on core functionality related to wallet to wallet lending -- Ensure proper go-to-market strategies -- Take lead of scrum teams as the Product Owner -- Provide vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project and create requirements -- Ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on -- Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product -- Define product vision, road-map and growth opportunities -- Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy -- Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories -- Work closely with Business Owners to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI -- Lead the planning product release plans and set expectation for delivery of new functionalities -- Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals -- Research and analyze market, the users, and the roadmap for the product -- Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends
Requirements:
-- 3+ years experience working experience as a Product Owner/Head of Product/VP of Product/Business Analyst building consumer web applications (preferably financial services products) -- Understanding of borrowers and lenders to assess product need, features and usefulness -- Ability to communicate and commit to timelines for product delivery -- In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles -- Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills -- Excellent organizational and time management skills -- Interest in and focus on building innovative tools that no one has built before -- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills -- Creative thinker with a vision -- Attention to details -- Knowledge of how blockchains work and interest in decentralized finance is beneficial, but is not required
Compensation $90k – $130k 0.25% – 0.75%
