Minimum requirements necessary for the Virtual Machine in terms of storage, ram and cpu

Ubuntu 20.04 LTS ~ 3 GB

VirtualBox 6.1

OS

  • type - linux
  • version - ubuntu (64-bit)

Ram

  • Memory size - 4096 MB

Storage

  • Create a virtual hard disk now
  • VDI (VirtualBox Disk image)
  • Dynamically allocated
  • File location and size - 30 GB

Settings

  • System > Processor > Processors(s) - 4
  • Storage - ubuntu-20.04.2.0-desktop-amd64.iso
  • Network > Adapter 1 > Attached to: Bridged Adapter

I run a test with the above settings except I had set 40 GB to the storage and it took 2h30m from the time I started the VM till I was synched to the tip of the chain. I was maxing 20 megabytes/s when downloading the ~ 5 GB snapshot from prunednode.today and I have an ssd. At the end of the setup the space used was slightly bellow 20 GB thus the recommended 30 GB above.
