Run Chrome with key --disable-directwrite-for-ui

Do you have "Disable DirectWrite" enabled in chrome://flags and
"--disable-directwrite-for-ui" added to your chrome shortcut's properties under
target box?

Ex, see below:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe"
--disable-directwrite-for-ui

Thanks, you've saved my life!

Though there's still a problem with viewing text in GMail: the text does have
an "Apple typeface" but now the font is a way smaller and sharper than ever
before.

@route: You aren't the only one. MacType is slowly becoming obsolete for chrome
:(

If you try going to https://www.udacity.com/ then the fonts are all mixed up
from disabling directwrite.

I found adding --disable-directwrite-for-ui --disable-direct-write AND
enabling "disable directwrite" in chrome://flags fixed it - but only after a
reboot

Starting Chrome with "--disable-directwrite-for-ui" by adding it to the
shortcut, fixed it for me and it renders the font great now! Change took place
only after restarting Chrome. I'm using version 44.0.2403.107 m.

THANKS A LOT! GOD BLESS YOU!
