What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Play alone with GammaValue when GammaMode set to 0
2. Check the different effect in Chromium based browser and other programs

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I'm expecting to get lighter rendering result as the GammaValue goes higher
(that would make sense, that's what gamma do right?) instead, in Chromium based
browser, I use Opera 24.0.1558.61 (Chrome/37.0.2062.120) - as the GammaValue
goes higher, the rendering result goes darker.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Mactype 1.2013.1231.0 on Windows 7 x64
