Hello Boone,
WP 3.9.2 single, BP 2.0.2, Invite Anyone 1.3.1
The widget does not show up in the sidebar and there is nothing in my error log…

It's working in my test environments.

Are you sure you're testing with a logged-in user? The widget does not
show up if you're logged out.

Please double-check that the widget is placed in a sidebar where other
widgets are working properly.

Did this suddenly stop working? Was there a version of Invite Anyone
where the widget was working as expected?

What theme are you using?

It's the first time that I tried to use the widget. I would like to use it on www.info.ch – you know the site, it's based on the Salutation theme. All other widgets are working fine. Re logged-in / out status: could it be that your check interferes with this plugin?…

It's possible that there is interference, yes. Only way to know would be
to toggle that plugin.

I de-activated that plugin… no change. Seems to have another reason…

…that's the only thing I found in the page source:
<link rel='stylesheet' id='invite-anyone-widget-style-css' href='https://www.info.ch/wp-content/plugins/invite-anyone/widgets/widgets-css.css?ver=3.9.2' type='text/css' media='all' />
How can I debug further?…

Just found "the problem". Confusion on my side! But also found a minor bug and some inconsistency in the plugin logic. Will let you know later. Have to leave… Thanks Boone!

One important thing is that IA doesn't show custom (non standard WP) user roles to choose from under "Only users who have at least the following role on this blog".
And if "Group members can send group invitations to" is set to "No one" the tab disappears in groups, but the groups can still be selected under "Invitations" in a member profile. Is that the intended behavior?

Nope, not intended behavior. Thanks for the report.
