Can't start Beaker on MacOS 11.6

Hi Paul, I haven't been able to get the latest version of Beaker to run on MacOS 11.6 (Big Sur).

After several reinstall attempts it always hangs indefinitely at the initialization screen. There are some error messages in the log but I'm not sure what they mean or how to cut and paste them in here.

Any suggestions?

Is this a Big Sur problem or an apple silicon M1 chips problem? I have the same thing on my 2020 macbook air.

Exact the same version and I'm using Apple M1.

You can try this #1861 (comment). It worked for me.
