When node leaves Snap sync, logs and Substrate APIs do not show that node is actually syncing, it is stuck in Preparing for a while before rolling back to Syncing much later.

This also results in Space Acres confusingly thinking it is synced before reverting back to not synced state, which confuses users.

We need to check why this is happening and either fix it upstream or fix reporting in our logs and Space Acres downstream.

Hello, I am a subspace farmer and a novice in the blockchain space, I am willing to contribute with guidance.

This requires some knowledge of Substrate's internals. Feel free to look around and open a PR if you find a way to do it, but I will not have time for proper mentorship at this moment.
