Should exit after sharing with next app

1. Open app A
2. Select a photo and choose Share → a share dialog appears
3. Share it with Send Reduced → another share dialog appears
4. Choose to share it with app B
5. Use OS gesture to switch to other app (e.g. in Android, 13 swipe right at bottom of screen)

At this point I would expect to be back in app A, but it actually goes back to Send Reduced, and then automatically back to app B, but with the share dialog still open. Further attempts to switch apps fail, until the show all apps gesture is used (in Android 13, drag up from the bottom of the screen).

I'm not sure if this is possible, but I think it would be better if Send Reduced removed itself from the list of open apps after the share is complete. Or maybe never allow itself to be added to that list?
