• I had the idea to plug opendal into shardingsphere infra module due to Support for using AES in JCA to encrypt and decrypt YAML values ​​in JDBC Driver shardingsphere#32872 (comment) , but soon I found that to use opendal in unit tests I needed to use kr.motd.maven:os-maven-plugin:1.7.0 to find the OS name. • There is an awkward problem here that kr.motd.maven:os-maven-plugin does not support Maven 4.0.0-beta4, refer to Plugin fails with Maven 4 trustin/os-maven-plugin#72 and Remove the maven.version.range declaration in pom.xml to avoid contributors compiling with Maven 4.0.0-beta3? shardingsphere#32568 .

• Maven Committer provided a PR as Support Maven 4 and JDK 21 at build time trustin/os-maven-plugin#74 . But the problem is that https://github.com/trustin/os-maven-plugin has not been maintained for more than 1 year, and the relevant PR is unlikely to be merged.

• Maybe there is a maven plugin that replaces kr.motd.maven:os-maven-plugin? Then point to the new maven plugin in opendal's documentation?

Two options:

1. Patch it to https://github.com/tisonkun/os-detector and use this plugin instead.
2. Try to work out a CI task for release things like opendal-all with all pre-built binaries included.

I'll try to push forward 1 in this week and for 2, anyone has time to investigate can check how netty [1] and rocksdb did it.

• It works perfectly! I have verified at Replaces with com.tisonkun.os:os-detector-maven-plugin to support building with Maven 4.0.0-beta-4 shardingsphere#32984 that com.tisonkun.os:os-detector-maven-plugin:0.3.1 works under Maven 4.0.0-beta-4.
