x-combobox and x-sort don't combine as expected (insert order is not always at end)

Steps to reproduce

1. Please click on the SVG in the combobox
2. Select the first three items in the combobox: Laravel, Ruby on Rails, Django
3. Dismiss the combobox selector by clicking away so that you can see the three sortables.
4. Drag Django above Ruby on Rails, so that the new order is Laravel, Django, Ruby on Rails
5. Open the combobox anew, and click Express

Expected
7. Express is added after Ruby on Rails

Actual
7. Express is added in between Django and Ruby on Rails
