Is there an existing issue for this?

  • I have searched both the existing open issues & recently closed issues and did not find a duplicate of this issue.

Current Behavior

Is there a way to disable the Powerwall integration? I already have the official Tesla HA integration and it is redundant to have this integration also fetching powerwall site data.

Thanks!

Expected Behavior

Ideally there is a configuration option to enable/disable Powerwall integration.

Why not just disable the entity in Home Assistant? Just edit it and set the enable toggle to off. The official Tesla HA integration is actually complementary to this one anyway, as it uses the local API to get real-time stats from the PW, whereas this one uses the Tesla cloud API to get the data, and also offers the ability to control settings such as backup reserve and operation mode, which are not possible through the local API. Those 2 items are the reason most people use this integration with their Powerwall. I personally use the local one for reporting in dashboards, and this one for running API commands.
