Is there an existing issue for this?

  • I have searched both the existing open issues & recently closed issues and did not find a duplicate of this issue.

I have read about the Fleet API and understand I may need to use it

  • I understand issues relating to read only commands will be auto closed if not using the Fleet API.

Version of the Tesla component

3.24.0

Version of the Tesla car software

2024.20.3

Model

Model Y

Current Behavior

It is not possible to trigger any commands from HA. I always get a message like, lock/unlock unknown error, or number/set_value unknown error. It worked fine all the time. I am using the fleet API.

Expected Behavior

Triggering an action works as intended.

@springfall2008 are you using the Fleet API? If not you will need to use it.

Fleet API won't help you here., as the free service is rate limited .

Same problem.
I can read values (SOC, inside temp, state of lock, amp of charge, if the charge is on or off, etc) but i can not change any of those.
Tesla just updated at 2024.20.6.2

Please don't post "me too" comments, unless you're adding additional information all you are doing is making noise on the issue. Use the Subscribe button to be updated on changes to this issue.

Additionally:

  • if you are not using the Fleet API and having this problem then you must swap over to use the Fleet API.
  • if you are using the Fleet API and and can only read information you might be hitting the rate limits

Confirm that after swapping to fleet api the problem was solved.

hello, is someone has solved this issued?

Depends, are you using the fleet API? Otherwise it should work and if not you might be best off raising a separate issue as I think this one is being in danger of having different unrelated things in it.

Few days ago my integration is working... but my SSL certificate expired and having trouble renewing the certificate...
I have to redo everything to a new DUCKDNS subdomain... I was able to configure the HTTP PRoxy and TEsla Custom Integration up until adding the Virtual Key into the car... but I cannot control my charging AMPS now... similar errors above.

Getting exactly the same in the logs per above. Was able to get working restarting the integration. Now can't it to work at all. Have removed and reinstalled the integration, just keep getting the same exception errors above. On fleet api, was working fine a couple of weeks ago.
