Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building products with a focus on web and API-driven solutions
• Strong experience in Golang (3+ years) and experience in shipping, and maintaining applications are written in Golang to Production
• Some experience in front-end technologies
• Strong technical background and capability in fundamentals
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
• Good communication skills
• Experience with a variety of storage/database technologies (e.g. Postgres, Neo4j...)
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools
• Containerisation (Docker)
• Scripting (bash)
• Knowledge/experience in microservice architectures is a plus
• Knowledge/experience in cloud technologies or Kubernetes is a plus

Responsibilities

• Extensive collaboration with Singapore & Australasia teams and stakeholders to build and support the platform
• Active participation in all development processes and rituals across grooming, estimation, development, testing, delivery, and operations
• Contribute to feature and story quality by providing feedback before the build
• Provide expertise and guidance on Golang to the team
• Maintain and extend the platform to meet business objectives with consideration of future requirements
• Ensure the correct functioning of developed features
• Participation in troubleshooting, and recovery of production and lower workloads
• Review and support personal and lower environments for development and test
• Participate in code reviews
• Identify and suggest improvements to processes, practices, and tooling
• Teach and Mentor other Engineers.

The role offers a start-up culture working with modern tools and technologies while providing interesting challenges to meet high-quality expectations. As a member of the team, you will help design, build and bring the product to market.
You will be closely working with other DevOps engineers, Developers, and Quality Assurance Engineers to design, build, and operate the platform. We will be looking to your expertise to help improve, extend, and scale the solution.
