Installation

MineRCON requires Python 2.6+ or 3.x to be installed on your system to work. After installing Python into your PATH, download and extract (or git clone) MineRCON into a directory of your choosing. Then, you can install MineRCON system-wide like so:

cd minercon
python setup.py install

If the script completes without errors, you are ready to start using MineRCON!

Alternatively, you can install MineRCON directly from GitHub by running pip install git+https://github.com/CraftySpaz/minercon.git --process-dependency-links, or simply by saving minercon.py and mcrcon.py into a directory together.
