Sidebar transitions

Overview

As a user, I should be able to expect smooth animations.

Whenever the active/hover state changes on the sidebar, it snaps to the size and color change. There should be a smoother transition when this changes. This can be achieved using tailwind somewhat trivially. Look into transition properties and try implementing this, there's no specific amount, as long as it's not super fast or slow
