For tooltips we have "hint" property on the guiOptions.
by single select do you mean specific control like drop-down? or radio button?

Unfortunately currently we do not support radio buttons.
Single select is supported with list type, which renders by default to drop down. Using guiOptions it can be customized to tiles instead.
Do you require it for SAP scenario?
