Luggage inventory disappeared

Playing on the FTB stoneblock 3, currently have a ring of magnetization equipped from botania (ring just moves dropped items to the player and if the player has a full inventory the items dangle at the player's feet). And after placing down my luggage while I had items hovering under my feet, the luggage which had a full inventory went to the items and ate them completely removing all the old items in the luggage.
