Unable to boot up Jetson Nano 2GB Board after flashing (./doflash.sh)

I am unable to boot up my 2GB Jetson Nano Development board. Which functioned correctly (tested with the official Image from Jetpack Website JP 4.5.1).

I got a fresh board, booted the JP 4.5.1 image directly on SD Card from host, to test it successfully boots and ups and runs the Jetson Nano 2GB board.

But after successfully flashing the SD Card by placing the Jetson Nano Board under Force Recovery Mode. And flashing the yocto build using doflash.sh (SD Card inserted in Jetson Board). The Board never boots up. Going back to the previous method of flashing SD Card on the host dosdcard.sh (SD Card inserted in host) , also did not boot up the Jetson Nano 2GB board.

Additionally, By removing the FRC short, and simply plugging back in the SD card and reflashing the official JP 4.5.1 from https://developer.nvidia.com/embedded/jetpack. Also did not boot up.

The Power LED seems to light up in all the conditions but it never boots back up anything. But nothing happens after that.

As this link recommends, and per @dwalkes guidance, I tried using /doflash.sh --spi-only . But that too lead to the same serial boot log

The problem is that I forgot to update the partition layout for the 2GB Nano as part of the R32.5.0 update in meta-tegra. The R32.5.0 bootloaders require the use of the "max-spi" layout, and are not backward-compatible with the older layout from earlier releases.

Setting

PARTITION_LAYOUT_TEMPLATE_jetson-nano-2gb-devkit = "flash_l4t_t210_max-spi_sd_p3448.xml"

in your build configuration should work around the problem until I fix this in meta-tegra.

The fix has been merged, so if you update to master latest, you should get the right layout.

But I had to use ./doflash.sh --spi-only with FRC.

./dosdcard method failed, though

Now that you've updated the SPI flash, the bootloaders should be all set, and for builds going forward you should be able to update just the SDcard.
