1. Quick Debug Information

  • Container Runtime Type/Version: CRI-O
  • K8s Flavor/Version: OCP 4.x
  • GPU Operator Version: Any Version

2. Issue or feature description

The following section should include any outbound networking requirements for clusters behind a firewall:
https://docs.nvidia.com/datacenter/cloud-native/openshift/23.9.2/prerequisites.html

Specifically, when trying to install the GPU operator, it is not enough to just allow firewall access to nvcr.io but to ngc.download.nvidia.com as well.

Something similar to this information could be captured in the docs:

Outbound Connectivity Requirements
For Docker Compose and Kubernetes Enterprise deployments, TCP 443 is required to access the repository endpoints for pulling containers. These repositories are: nvcr.io and ngc.download.nvidia.com
