Apparent upload problems with file names containing "+" or "-", similar file names treated as identical

Dear Edmond IT,

I would like to report a bug in the hope you can find a workaround for my problem please.
I tried to upload files with a similar file name in my collection but failed (cf attachment).

I want to upload a file name "2D_Glass_PEG_TimeLapse_PEG+_1.czi.gz" and in the collection there is already a file called "2D_Glass_PEG_TimeLapse_PEG++_1.czi.gz".
Somehow, your script does not compare the full length of the filename but start from the left side and because there are similarity on the filename except only one letter, it does not let me upload anything.

Same problem arise with filename "2D_Glass_PEG_TimeLapse_PEG-_1.czi.gz"..

Because of my data structure I have to upload them under the same folder.
Can you please help me ?
