Hey, thanks for publishing this! I love to see this level of passion for Gather :)
And I especially appreciate it since we probably won't have time in the near future to release a native Linux app ourselves.

One minor request: can you make it more clear on the snap store (https://snapcraft.io/gathertown) that this is very unofficial please? We want to make sure peoples' expectations are correct for how well supported/not-buggy it will be.
