4K via HDMI not working - max resolution 2560x1600 #16
Comments
Even after following the solution of issue #11, I am not able to get 4K@30 via HDMI properly. I think, I need to try more. |
I have not tested it before. I may try it later. |
If "DVMT Pre-Allocate" is already set to 64MB, remove the VRAM size patching: delete the following two keys from iGPU Device Properties: "framebuffer-stolenmem", "framebuffer-fbmem". When 64MB is taking effect, 4K should be possible. |
Similar to the issue #11, I am not able to run my 4K monitor at optimal resolution of 4K. The resolution is capped at 2560x1600 only. @Lovely-XPP have you tested your config on a 4K monitor.
Thanks a lot for your great work and for sharing your resources with us!
