Crashed when selected "view transaction details" and can't reopen app

I've used this litecoin wallet app on various android devices for several years. Today, after receiving a transaction to the wallet, I selected "view transaction info" and the app crashed. If I try to reopen it, it just instantly crashes. I tried restarting the phone, which didn't improve the issue.

I know the readme states that the wallet files are located in

/data/data/de.schildbach.wallet/files/wallet-protobuf (MODE_PRIVATE)

but I'm unable to find that using the file manager in the phone, nor am I able to find it when hooking it up to a windows machine. I restored my last backup on another android device, but that update doesn't hold the private key that I received with today.
