Add the ability to select watchers for the workflow. These people should receive notifications about events in the workflow by email, see processes in their "My workflow" dashlet and page under "I follow" section.
Related important use case: the user participated in workflow at some stage and wants to track it updates. So, the user should be able to start "following" him/her-self, without participation of initiator / admin / whoever.
