I've a lot of people to reference. Most of them are from a give set (think colleagues). I would like to have one or possibly multiple "register" files, in which the information about these people is kept (even imported).
The simplest solution would be to allow to link to headings in files using the '#' part of the standard link feature.
It be even better to be able to refer to rows in tables. But I've no idea how this could be realized with standard features.
Think of organizations or large teams where most referenced people are internal. You could just convert e.g. contact lists into a file with one heading per person plus additional data below, or even better a table including a column for aliases.
Please consider at least the simple option with the headings :)
